Slavonic Island (Slovanský ostrov)

The project is based on the specifications of the investor, Prague 1 municipality.
The main goal of the planned works is a complete rehabilitation and restoration of the island parterre, including not only a full restoration of paved surfaces and greenery, but particularly the development of an attractive place offering diverse leisure-time activities for all age groups. The project contains piers for boat and pedal boat rentals as well as a Prague ferry dock, subsequent construction work and lighting, a playground with a little train which is a replica of the first steam train introduced to the public on Slavonic Island in the 19^th century, and more.

Full reconstruction and rehabilitation of the island will require the closure of both access points (Mánes and the bridge from the National Theatre where a gate and security guard station will be built).
