The Plasmapheretic Centre Hradčanská shelters a total of 30 collection points with complete facilities including medical offices, examination rooms and administrative and operation areas where blood plasma is checked and stored.
Among the facilities for donors are reception desks, waiting rooms, changing rooms and sanitary facilities.
The aim was to create a residential and interesting interior which will in all respects react to strict requirements of the hygienic and medical control authorities while providing a peaceful and attractive place for the donors during their regular visits.

The principle idea of UNICA, a private-owned company dealing in blood-plasma collection, was the creation of collection points unrelated to medical centres in places which would be close to donors and easily accessible.
This concept, which is very successful in western Europe, has materialised into the first centre of this kind in Prague in the Administrative Centre Hradčanská. The aim was to create a residential and interesting interior which will in all respects react to strict requirements of the hygienic and medical control authorities while providing a peaceful and attractive place for the donors during their regular visits.

The operation and architectural solution were envisaged as a pilot project which will later be followed by further similar places in Prague and other places in the Czech Republic.
