Náměstí I. P. Pavlova is an area in the long term defined mainly by car traffic of the two superior city roads Sokolská and Legerova at the transverse intersection with a through road between the street Ječná and Náměstí Míru, where the city public transport is to be found in addition to cars. The space also suffers from the long-term absence of a high-quality urban parterre, greenery and areas that would balance the movement of pedestrians. The revitalization project of the southern part of the square, which is an investment by TSK, is dedicated to precisely this. The expansion of pedestrian areas, the creation of an appropriate pedestrian promenade with a connection to the metro station entrance, to avenues of trees and street furniture is connected with the adjustment of the levels of the adjacent roadways.
The design for the project was prepared in 2022 and implemented in 2023.
